Comparative Study Of "Nanfang Daily" And "Nanfang Dushi Bao" In 2012 Two Reports

In our country, the national "NPC and CPPCC" always attracts the attention of the media and the public because of its charactors which relates to the benefit of the people’s livelihood. The process of media report finally shows the procedure that reports are actually the selection and recombination of the relevant facts. So does the media reports on China’s "NPC and CPPCC". However, due to the differences of various media properties, positioning, different media reports on the "NPC and CPPCC" are not the same.This eassy is operating under the news frame theory perspective, selecting the Southern Daily and Southern Metropolis Daily as the research objects, and doing the comparative analysis of difference of the "NPC and CPPCC" reports. This study selects the news in March of the two papers as the sample, using the method of content analysis and comparative analysis as the main research method, and then according to the specific category system, doing the comparative analysis after the data entry.Are the constructions of the "NPC and CPPCC" reports of Southern Daily and Southern Metropolis Daily the same? What are the differences? What is the influencing factors which contributing to the contrubution? These are the main research problems of this essay. According to the research practice, this paper will probe into the internal structure of news text in three different levels and do the comparative analysis on the specific text.The starting point of this essay is that study the reports about the national "NPC and CPPCC" of the two papers from the perspect of the frame theory, showing the construction of the news facts on the two different papers, and then enrich the research on the current newspaper.There are four chapters in this essay. The frist chapter is the introduction part, which including the research background, significance, and the purpose of research. This part also shows the research situation of NPC and CPPCC reports, the news frame theory and the research method and design.The second chapter is the concrete analysis of two newspaper "NPC and CPPCC" report frame, which including the theme structure, schematic structure and writing style. In this part, it shows the different frameworks of the two papers’"NPC and CPPCC" reports.The third chapter is the analysis of concept and strategy of two newspaper’s "NPC and CPPCC" reports. This part focus on the relationship among different frame levels which influencing each other and analyses the influencing factors of the two paper’s news framework though the specific research on "NPC and CPPCC" reporting scheme and strategy.The fourth chapter is the conclusion part of this paper which showing a brief summary of this study process and conclusion.In this paper, the second chapter and the third chapter is the main part of the whole research, which mainly solving the problem of "what" and "why".There comes to the conclusion that there are differences between the report frames of the Southern Daily and Southern Metropolis Daily" in2012national "NPC and CPPCC" report. In the process which the framework comforming, the internal structure, which included three levels, influence the process. News organizations, individual level cognitive level, propaganda and reporting schemes all have influenced the formation of different framework, and the news organization is the maximum factor.
