The Internet and other new media has become the primary media for people to obtain information. Compared with traditional media, new media led by Internet has inherent advantages of spreading rapidly and being interactive. Furthermore, new media has caused a great impact on the development of traditional media, which have affected the survival of many traditional media. Print media of industry is an important part of the traditional media, in the era of new media, it could not avoid the impact of new media. Industry print media has a professional relatively fixed reader groups, the impact is still relatively small, but we still need to adjust the operation and development strategies to deal with the impact of new media.This article is going to analyze the characteristics of the new media and traditional media respectively, as well as point out how to locate the relationship between traditional media and new media. I hope that the passage will have some practical significance on the resource integration of the domestic media. In this article, the print media of automotive industry will be used as an example to analyze the macro environment and micro environment of the print media of industry, the strengths and weaknesses of the print media of industry, as well as the strategic transformation of the industry print media in the era of new media, and finally give some strategies of developing print media of industry’s own advantage and operational recommendations.
