Nowadays,the traditional media industry is in a transitional period,and every enterprise in the industry is actively looking for a suitable development path.Therefore,merger and acquisition,as one of the important ways for the healthy development of enterprise transformation,is playing an increasingly prominent role.In our country,there are fewer cases of M&A in traditional media industry,the M&A market is in a relatively imperfect initial stage,the financing channels of enterprises are single,and the experience of M&A financing is relatively scarce,so they will face greater financing risks in M&A.Anhui New Media is a typical traditional publishing enterprise,while Blue Lion represents a digital new media enterprise.This merger and acquisition is an important measure for media enterprises to actively embrace new media and actively carry out transformation.The gradual transformation and upgrading of China's media industry to modern digital media is a continuous process.More and more traditional media enterprises choose mergers and acquisitions to quickly adapt to the integration and development of new media.The acquisition of Blue Lion by Anhui New Media will facilitate the extension of the company's main business from book publishing to the publishing field of content upstream of the industry chain,and facilitate the transformation and integration of traditional media to new media.Therefore,the research on Financing in the process of acquisition of Blue Lion by Anhui New Media is of great significance to the transformation and development of China's media industry.Financing activities will have a significant impact on the merger and acquisition process of enterprises.The differences in financing methods,the amount of financing,the level of financing costs and risks,and the fluidity of financing channels all affect the merger and acquisition effect and even the final merger and acquisition results to a certain extent.This paper mainly analyses and discusses some problems of financing activities in the process of merger and acquisition of new media enterprises by traditional media enterprises in China.
