Studies On Development Of Secondary Vocational Education Of Guangxi Press And Publication

Secondary vocational education is an important part of vocational education, but is also a weak link in the whole education system. Its own specialty structure, the scale and quality of its development can not meet the needs of national economic construction and social development. The development of secondary vocational education of press and publication in Guangxi has also faced the same dilemma. Press and publishing industry plays an important role in process of promoting the great prosperity and development of cultural industries in Guangxi, therefore it urgently needs a high quality team of the press and publication. Secondary vocational education of press and publication in Guangxi bears important responsibility to cultivate talents of press and publication. But currently there is a comparatively large distance between it and the requirements for skilled personnel of press and publication, of which one of the major reasons is that the individual demands to the secondary vocational education of press and publication in Guangxi are not high.This paper, using education demand and supply theory, carries on analysis and forecast on the social needs for the secondary vocational education of press and publication in Guangxi as well as a discussions on its individual demands. It also conducts a survey on the layout, basic school-running conditions, specialty settings, enrollment situation, students’employment situation, and current situation of ranks of teachers of the secondary vocational education of press and publication in Guangxi and analyzes the existing problems in the development of the secondary vocational schools in this field and their causes. On this base, Separately from the dimensions of Government, society, press and publication administration in Guangxi and of the school, some targeting and practical proposals are put forward towards the development of the secondary vocational education of press and publication in Guangxi. This paper is divided into five chapters, chapter Ⅰ, introductory section, including the background, purpose and significance of topics of research, literature review and research thought and methods; Chapter Ⅱ, definition of core theory and elaboration of the demand theory, which serves as the theoretical basis for research; Chapter Ⅲ, analysis of demands of secondary vocational education of press and publication in Guangxi; Chapter IV, analysis of problems and causes of secondary vocational education schools of press and publication in Guangxi, Chapter V, proposals on the development meeting educational demands of secondary vocational education of press and publication in Guangxi, and eventually the conclusion.
