The cross-strait relationship continues to heat up, and the national policy of continuous tilt. Those changes give a good opportunity for development of Fujian Province in the central hub of cross-strait exchanges. Fujian Province’s economic development and "Building cultural province" actively promote the good prospects for the development of the Fujian provincial public library. With the development of modern information technology and the formation of the intellectual network environment, the digital information resources has become the basis of the national construction, launching of digital information services becomes the key to the public libraries of information services in the network environment and play the role of network hub. However, Fujian Provincial Public Libraries’digital information services can not meet the growing information and cultural needs of Fujian’s economic development, the endorsement of the social progress and cultural enlightenment is limited. Comparing to the neighboring provinces’provincial public libraries of Guangdong, Zhejiang, Taiwan, the Fujian provincial public library’s digital information services is still much room for improvement.This paper is starting from the development status of the Fujian provincial public library, using the literature search, field research, survey research methods. Investigating and understanding the Fujian provincial public library’s digital information services, and finding out the shortcomings and deficiencies with the comparative analysis of Fujian’s adjacent area. Proposing recommendations which can be achieved references for the smooth development of the Fujian provincial public library’s digital information services.
