Investigation And Research On The Development Planning Of Provincial Public Libraries In My Country

The library development planning is a medium and long-term scheme for the development of the library.It is also the development goal and task in a certain period of time in the future formulated by the library based on the changes of the external environment and its own development trend.Additionally,the library development plan plays a significant guiding role in coping with the changes and grasping the future of the library.With the promulgation of the Ministry of Culture's "National Public Library Development Plan for the 13 th Five-Year Plan" and the implementation of the "Public Library Law of the People's Republic of China",an increasing number of public libraries in our country have begun to attach importance to research and formulate development plans.Most provincial public libraries have formulated and implemented the "13th Five-Year Plan".According to the "13th Five-Year Plan" of provincial public libraries in China,this paper investigates and studies the formulation and implementation of the "13th Five-Year Plan" of provincial public libraries in China,clarifies the historical background and practical significance of the formulation of the "13th Five-Year Plan" of provincial public libraries,emphasizes the in-depth interpretation of the text content of the "13th Five-Year Plan" of provincial public libraries.This paper sorts out and analyzes the main content features of the "13th Five-Year Plan" of provincial public libraries in China.Combining with the current internal and external environmental factors of the library,this paper dissects the major problems existing in the "13th Five-Year Plan" of the provincial public library,and proposes some suggestions and strategies for the provincial public library to formulate and implement the next five-year development plan.
