China Charity Reality Show Study

At present,academic circles have the analysis of reality Show,about show characteristics,developing history and problems.But the cognition and analysis on charity Reality Show,about reasons,characters and society effects, academic circles lack of systematic examination and further research.Especially the show characters of charity reality Show,there is no much theoretical and systematic research so far.This paper is mainly focus on the TV program" Dream Chorus"of CCTV.The thesis strives to combine the historical materials with analyses.to research the element,procedure and characteristics of the program.The purpose is to find the social reasons,summarize the characteristics of charity reality Show,and draw on the experience of how to counterpoise the contradiction of Ratings and social effects.First,the paper introduces the classification and developing history of reality Show,and summarize the problems, which are the reasons of charity Reality Show’s appearance.The paper indicates that the mass media should settle the social obligation except improving the ratings. It’s the reason of Dream Chorus’s success and the important experience which can help the mass media counterpoise the contradiction of Ratings and social effects.
