Research On Scenario Narration Of TV Reality Show

The year of 2015 has witnessed the booming of Chinese TV reality show. The scenario, as one of the important components of the reality show, has played an increasingly significant role in the overall narration. The paper does some research and analysis on the reality show scenarios based on the real operating experience of shows like "Where are we going dad" "I am a Singer"&,"Run for time" according to the Genette narrative discourse theory, Goffman Mime theory and field theory.In different stages, the scenarios of TV reality show have different characteristics and preference:the initial reality show put more emphasis on real record which was guaranteed by designed regulation. While in the year of 2003, with the surge of talent show, the scenarios tended to put more effort on creating characters and enhanced the sense of identity and intimacy for audience. "The Metamorphosis", which was played in the year of 2006, enhanced the set for scenarios and attention towards the social topics. In 2010, the popular matchmaking show as well as career show concentrated and reappeared some of the social groups which enhanced the effect of environment setting towards people’s behavior regulation. "Where are we going dad", which was played in 2013, has brought the wave of celebrity TV reality show. The role & plot design for the scenarios celebrity TV reality show increased the dramatic tension. Especially the "Run for time" played in 2015, it put the virtual scene and role play into the show and adapted the intersectional narrative of story, game & future space-time. These avant-garde attempt have provided new view and development direction for TV reality show.In real operating process, the directors have to conduct the brain storm for directing preinstall in the initial period based on the reality, and intervene on site, then recreation during the period of late clips, and finally bring the whole scene to the audience. The precise predetection, potential effect, the catch up for "the best moment", and the method for inserting the ad into the show creatively all have important effect towards the scenarios setting as well as narrative. Besides, this is also a kind of test for the creative as well as operating capability for the TV reality show.Reality show has its own unique narrative style simulation. Only if having in-depth knowledge about the characteristics and function of the scenarios of TV reality show, and constantly finding the way of scenarios construction as well as the rule of narrative, the TV reality show could adapt to the development of society as well as the demand of the audience and have larger breakthrough.
