There is promising prospect with huge market for Mobile Location Service, one of the most competitive value added service after Short Message Service (SMS). In recent years, the maturity of its industrial chain creates opportunities for the development of LBS. All operators are drawing their attention to Industrial-oriented LBS products.The thesis is a sub-project of "The Research and Development of China Telecom LBS System". It is a mobile LBS system design based on gpsOne technology. This system is to integrated advanced technology including J2EE Technologyã€The middleware technologyã€The directory service technologyã€Workflow technology〠Electronic formã€Data exchange technologyã€DBTã€Virtual private network technologyã€GPSã€GIS and Application Integration Technologyby applying system engineering theory. The system design, including platform construction of gpsOne technology based mobile LBS systemã€operating environment design on system software and applied system softwareã€system main functional module design and the optimization on mobile positioning scheduling system, is to achieve intelligent scheduling on mobile LBS system.China Telecom LBS System will be one of the most important CDMA-based differentiated services products after China Telecom undertakes CDMA network. By using this system, China Telecom can not only provide governmentã€companies and customers with general standard third-party positioning service, but also offer various individual customers with integrated positioning service to meet their demands. The implementation of this promising project will bring a more standard and complete LBS System for the society. It will also facilitate an economic and social benefit for the company at the same time. |
