With the developing of the mobile communication technology, the main task of mobile communication network has changed from voice to voice and increment operation now. As a kind of increment operation of mobile communication network, location service rises rapidly in recent yeas. Location service achieves the individuation service by offering position information to the users or organizations. And this position information is gained by some technology.Taxi trade requires the GPSONE location technology based on CDMA1X technology in many aspects. At first, the taxi is always moving and needs secure information momently. Secondly, the taxi corporation must manage the taxi timely. By using the GPSONE location technology, GPS technology, and communication technology will be realized easily and the safety of taxi driver and passenger could be assured. This paper studies the application of mobile location technology in taxi trade. The advanced GPSONE technology is used for taxi management by providing the position information. And the BREW software is used as the application environment to realize all the functions.A design of mobile location technology in taxi trade is brought up in this paper. It is divide into five parts.1 This part introduce the origin of mobile location technology and its development in the world. The background and the significance of this study are also introduced.2 In this part, the status quo of CDMA IX net in our country is introduced at first. Then some kinds of wireless location technology are discussed and compared. At last, it adopts GPSONE technology here because of its advantages.3 The functions of this research are defined and two types of location net are compared.
