In recent years, With economic development,national car into every household inthe middle stage of development has gradually become a reality.Car ownership is rising,inevitably also brings the problem of traffic congestion, frequent accidents,environmental pollution. This series of problems forced people to start research onIntelligent Transportation Systems (Interlligen Transport System, ITS). Acts as anextremely important role in intelligent transportation systems, car navigation systems.Design a the GPS/GPSOne hybrid positioning technology, open source free Linuxoperating system embedded vehicle navigation system.The main work of the thesis include:(1) The navigation system’s hardware system designThe car navigation system development platform for embedded systems Using theS3C2410development board for ARM core-based hardware platform, To create andconnect the various functional modules circuit. in which, including the design andrealization of GPS positioning module circuit, GPSOne positioning module circuitstorage module circuit serial module circuit, power supply circuit, and human-computerinteraction module circuit.(2) Design and car navigation software systemHardware platform is created, designed and developed a software environment forcar navigation systems. The system uses Linux as the operating system, softwareimplementations on a cross-development environment, complete the Linux boot loaderBootloader transplantation, burn Flash, Linux kernel S3C2410chip transplant. Thedesign and development of a car navigation system software functional modules, inwhich shows the part of the program design. Eventually completed the process of theoverall design of the car navigation system.(3) Final testing and applicationThe system hardware and software debugging, navigation, positioning, and roadplanning, the basic realization of the system was originally designed to function. Strengthen the testing of the positioning system, proven in tests. Introduced GPSOne location, car navigation and positioning accuracy, reliabilityhas been greatly improved. Of course, this is also the system design innovation: hybridpositioning system GPSOne location assisted GPS positioning, integration of the twopositioning advantages of enhanced real-time and reliability of positioning. Ultimately,the design of the car navigation system has a good man-machine exchange interface,high reliability, low cost, as the popularity of car navigation systems and promotion.
