Radar simulation technology is the combination of simulation technology andradar technology,which is used to simulate the radar echo signals and the environmentof and radar. The simulator can be used to test performance of the radar receiver andtransmitter. Therefore, the development cycle of the receiver of the radar can be shorten.The test condition of simulator is stable and inexpensive comparing with the testcondition of the the external field,Radar simulator develop rapidly with thedevelopment of computer technology,bus technology and integrated circuitsThe study object of this paper is the designed target simulator and implementationof clutter noise model.Task of designed target simulator is the echo signalsgenerated,which is obtained from the transmission signal pulse delaying andDoppler-frequency shift. Designed object of target simulator include: pulse modulationgenerated; the pulse signal delayed, doppler frequency shift achieved; controlingamplitude of the echo signal;.In the meanwhile, distance delay indicators is analyzedand verified according to the radar echo equations whether it is reasonable. The systemclock frequency is determined according to requirements of distance delayed accuracy.The method of accumulated value of delaying is proposed according to the requirementsof speed. The accuracying of DDS generator is proposed according to the equation ofDoppler-frequency shift. Finally,the target simulator is designed on the basis of theresults of the analysis.Task of implementation of clutter is the models of the radardifferent clutter established and implemented according to radar work environment,Designed object of clutter include: simulating and analysis of the nature of the clutterusing the tool of Matlab,proposing implementation methods of Gaussian clutter modelto non-Gaussian clutter model by variation of ZMNL Finally, band-limited Gaussiannosie sequence is realized. The co-frequency interference signal realized is replaced bythe echo signal of radar transmitting signal detecting the object behind target.,and theecho signal be send to receiver to simulate the co-frequency interference signal.The overall scheme of target simulator is proposed accroding to requirements, andhardware circuits and software programming is designed. The correctness of the program is verified by test experimental results, the design meet the requirements ofsystem index.
