The fields of large-format photoelectric scanner are widely used in military,industrial, scientific and cultural fields in the graphic scanning and character recognition,the scope of its application is more and more wider which plays a very important role inthe process of digital earth. As for the traditional large-format photoelectric scanner inthe process of data acquisition, parallel data mosaic is the first major in PC cache andthen rely on software, and under the parallel data acquisition and splicing, thisdissertation is proposed a new large-format photoelectric scanner parallel data splicingmethod in the hardware splicing method of FPGA which can achieve the high precisionsplicing of multi-channel parallel data.In this dissertation, the large-format photoelectric scanner data acquisition whichbased on FPGA and the design of hardware circuit and the design of control program insplicing platform is described. The hardware circuit is mainly introduced the design ofthe platform of each hardware circuit modules, including CCD image acquisition, ADconversion, SDRAM image storage, UART, Camera Link transmission, USBtransmission, the system clock, global reset and power circuit modules. The controlprogram design of hardware platform is emphasized in the control program, includingthe driving timing of CCD sensor, AD configuration and driving timing, SDRAMconfiguration and driving timing and parallel data real-time splicing control program,etc.The current domestic production of large-format photoelectric scanner is mainly tobuy foreign mature data acquisition hardware platform and the processing system ofsoftware that all have been packaged completely. Although the development of thismodel with the advantages of modularity, in the whole system development cycle isrelatively short, but the key technology is basically monopolized by large foreignenterprises, and it needs to pay the high purchasing cost and patent transfer fees, so it isnot suitable for large scale production. This dissertation is presented the large-formatphotoelectric scanner data acquisition with independent intellectual property rights andbased on FPGA, and slicing platform mainly consists of CCD image acquisition module and control module based on FPGA. In the platform control program design theabundant IP core resources are used fully, technology of Avalon bus and SOPC on-chipprogrammable technology to realize high-speed parallel data acquisition and highprecision hardware platform real-time data splicing, it is extremely important role forthe whole large-format photoelectric scanner.
