With the development of communication technologies and embedded systems, embedded communication systems are widely used in industry, national defense, aerospace and other fields. Therefore, the reliability of embedded communication system affects the operation of the whole system, which is critical. For this, mainly based on the current SOPC (System On a Programmable Chip) technology, and combined with the practical background of application, this paper developes a SOPC-based reconfigurable communication test system.This paper introduces the SOPC-based reconfigurable communication test system, which can provide solution for the error of RS-485, CAN communication and the failure of equipment communication line. First of all, in this paper it is introduced the system's performance index, function, and then it is analyzed and discussed the realization of the function in different parts of the system. The design can be roughly divided into a machine design and the upper monitor system design.The machine is built hardware platform with DSP+FPGA double processor system structure. Among them, DSP TMS320F2812 is primarily responsible for 4 road simulation voltage signal collection, EPCS4 online programming and communicate with the upper machine by RS-232 serial interface, FPGA using CycloneⅡEP2C8Q208I8N, in which UART, CAN controller, etc are integrated into the custom NiosⅡprocessor by the form of Avalon peripherals, communicate with equipments by RS-485, CAN serial interface in a completely new and flexible way. In order to guarantee the reliability of communication and continuity, in hardware and software design use redundancy design thoughts.The upper monitor system designed by VC++ programming language communicates with veneer system, meanwhile analyzes and displays test results.Finally, this paper completes the test work between upper monitor system and veneer system. Test results show that the system can meet the requirements of index.
