The national image is a cognitive combination of both a country of their own and the other actors which in the international system. The national image is considered to be one of the important parts of the national "soft power", can be reflected from a comprehensive strength and influence in this country. With nearly three decades’rapid economic growth, China has great demands on spreading of its national image. On the one hand, China hopes to promote Chinese culture to the world, to make the world better understand China; On the other hand, China also hope that through the spread of the national image, fight for more right to speak for themselves in the international system and wining the interests and the space for the development of political and economic. Therefore in recent years, both government agencies, enterprises and media organizations, has invested huge money and effort both in the spread of the national image.However, when we are confidently looking forward to the national image spread the enormous return, but found that it is not our wish. Both politically and economically, China and other countries friction are increasing year by year, and in the culture, not only carry forward the Chinese culture are not well spread, but comprehensively suppressed by Western culture. Therefore, many scholars began to explore what problems exist in China’s national image communication method, which led to the embarrassing situation of the national image’s spread.The paper from three aspects of national the image spread of the reason cannot reach the expected communication of results, there are objective reasons cannot be changed, because human or a civilization in the history of the evolution formed. In other words, regardless of the communication of the national image much effort, or to take advantage of how state-of-the-art methods, are unable to achieve the effect we want. However, completely determine the national image spread of to no avail arbitrary. The spread of the national image can still play a role connecting national feelings.
