In current knowledge, the quantity of the Dunhuang and Turfan manuscripts military literatures, is a total of six kinds, in eight volumes. The quantity of them is not very much, and sometimes they were ignored, so the studies about them are not perfect. This paper has put some new views on the Dunhuang and Turfan manuscripts military literatures on the basis of existing research.In Introduction, this paper briefly introduces to the origins and evolutions of the military literatures before the Tang Dynasty. In Chapter I, this paper briefly introduce the Dunhuang and Turfan manuscripts military literatures’ finding location, collection locations and current studies. Chapter II-V, this paper discusses the specific issues. This paper mainly studies the relations between the Dunhuang and Turfan manuscripts military literatures and other editions of military literatures, and uses the Dunhuang and Turfan manuscripts to re-examine the writing times of Wojijing(《握奇經》),Huangshigong Sanlue(《黄石公三略》),and Sushu (《素書》).This paper first transcribes the Dunhuang manuscripts P.4837A, rescores its original structure, finds out its citations’ source, writing time and nature. And this paper discusses the phenomenon in the Dunhuang and Turfan manuscripts that collations are mixed with texts.
