Dunhuang knowledge enlightenment textbooks is a kind of enlightenment textbooks type found in Dunhuang stone room.It has been preserved in the form of writing book.As the material carrier of this kind of knowledge enlightenment textbooks,written books carry rich content and information.As a text in a specific period,they have deep historical and cultural value.This paper will explore the integrity of the existing 34 Dunhuang knowledge enlightenment textbook manuscripts,and analyze the material form of knowledge enlightenment textbook manuscripts,the relevance of different types of texts in the manuscripts and the situation of enlightenment education reflected in the literature texts through the way of close reading.The main body of the paper is divided into four parts:The first part is an overview of Dunhuang knowledge enlightenment textbook manuscripts.First of all,this chapter confirms the nature and scope of the manuscripts with Dunhuang knowledge enlightenment textbook.There are five kinds of manuscripts,including 34.Then,through the specification,transcription,damage degree and conjugation of the Dunhuang knowledge Mongolian manuscripts were investigated,and every detail of the manuscripts was taken into consideration.Based on the investigation of the material form of the manuscripts,the paper will also analyze the form of the manuscripts and the form of the manuscripts,the identity of the scribes and the way of the communication of the manuscripts,so as to deepen the understanding of the knowledge Mongolian manuscripts in Dunhuang.The second part is the case analysis of Dunhuang knowledge enlightenment textbook manuscripts.Although there are a lot of knowledge enlightenment textbook manuscripts in Dunhuang,there are many fragmented manuscripts.In order to better explore the transcription situation of this kind of manuscript,we choose P.2721,P.3155,P3929,S.5658?P.3906 as representatives.These four manuscripts are well preserved and contain two binding forms: scroll binding and booklet binding.They reflect the educational situation of Dunhuang school at that time in terms of transcription content,and each of them has its own transcription characteristics.Through case analysis and close reading of the text,this paper explores the transcription of these four manuscripts and the relevance of the contents of the same volume.The third part is about the relationship between Dunhuang knowledgeenlightenment textbook manuscripts and Dunhuang enlightenment education in Tang and Five Dynasties.There are thirty-four Dunhuang knowledge enlightenment textbook manuscripts,which are used as the teaching materials for the enlightenment education in the Tang and Five Dynasties.Their contents reflect the educational system and ideological content of the enlightenment education in Dunhuang at that time.Through the inscriptions,characters and poems of Xuelang,we can have a glimpse of the learning life of Xuelang in Dunhuang at that time.The fourth part is the educational significance of Dunhuang knowledge enlightenment textbooks.As a teaching material,Dunhuang knowledge enlightenment textbook plays an important role in promoting the expansion of social knowledge and cultural consumer groups,and plays an important role in the development of ancient Chinese enlightenment textbooks.
