There are three related Dunhuang manuscripts on Foshuozhujingzayuanyuyinyouji,(hereinafter referred to as Yinyouji)among which Pelliot 3849V and BD3129 are intact, whereas the third one,Stein 5643,only partially remains.Looking into the relics of Dunhuang documents, the first part of this paperstudies the general situation of the writing volume, time of copying, the relationship of copying, the reform, nature and political implication of Buddhist classics. The second part is collation and annotation of Yinyouji in full text.As mentioned above, this paper is divided into two parts.Part one contains an introduction and five chapters. The introduction presents an overview of the Dunhuang manuscripts reviews existing literatures, and highlighted the uniqueness of this study..The first chapter is "The Research of Copying Time of Pelliot 3849V and BD3129 based on the creation date of Huixiangwen(???)".Deduced from the appellations of the relevant blessing characters in the Huixiangwen included in the two manuscripts, these two manuscripts were written or copied in the middle and early tenth century, when Dunhuang was ruled by the Cao's Guiyi Army. The second chapter is "The Relation Between Pelliot 3849V and BD3129".A comparison of those two manuscripts in terms of contents and the wording is made, together with their ending inscription. The writer concludes that the BD3129 was copied from a written manuscript derived from the Pelliot 3849V.The third chapter is "The Transformation of Buddhist Classics brought by Yinyouji".This part discusses the two types of Yinyouji and how they changed the characteristics of Buddhist classics. The fourth chapter is "The Nature of "Cause".By studying the so-called "story outline"(?????),I believe that Yinyouji was not a " story essentials“?but a transcript of the story told on the occasion of Sujiang(??)and Eight Guanzhai ceremony(???).The fifth chapter is "The Political Implication of Yinyouji:the faith of Maitreya(??)and Cakravartin(???).This chapter demonstrates political intentions of Yinyouji by analyzing two stories included. The purpose of chanting Yinyouji is not only to encourage people to donate or to practice the eight commandments(??),but also to promote the faith in Cakravartin which help consolidate Cao's regime. The Part 2 is the collation and notes of Yinyouji. On the basis of relevant research achievements,Pelliot 3849V is regarded as the master text, and the reference collation texts are BD3129 and Stein 5643.
