The manuscripts of Zhaoming Wenxuan have attracted great attention among the scholars since the first discovery of the Dunhuan and Turpan documents. Through the efforts of the last one hundred years, relevant researches have been very fruitful. However due to the researchers' limited academic background and the deficiency of objective conditions, problems such as the omitting in the collection of the volume numbers, the misdating of the manuscripts, and the inaccuracy of collations, still remain more or less in the existing treatises and books.Having made the utmost possible effort to get together the manuscripts of Wenxuan that are distributed among Dunhuang and Turpan documents, this treatise tries to trace out and summarize comprehensively the one century's research on the manuscripts of Wenxuan in Dunhuang and Turpan documents. This treatise consists in the following three parts. First, in summing up the researches in the last one hundred years, the first part 'Introduction' valuates the manuscript of Wenxuan in Dunhuang and Turpan documents. The second part 'Descriptive Catalogue' catalogs the manuscripts of no. 32 Dunhuang, no. 7 Turpan and no. 9 Wenxuan concerned, and describes in detail the naming of the manuscripts, their forms and the joining of the materials, which at last leads to the correction of the errors in the former researches and the promotion of their fruits. Finally, focusing on the Dunhuang and Turpan manuscripts of Wenxuan, the last part 'Collations' compares and collates the various manuscripts of Wenxuan according to the edition which has passed on to us today and the books before Tang Dynasty that include in their catalogue the articles of Wenxuan. In doing so, this part corrects the errors in former collations and adds totally 94 entries omitted before as a supplement to the former researches.
