Lenovo (Beijing) Co., Ltd. to today has developed into a large enterprise groupdiversified development in the information industry. Currently serving the largenumber of employees, making many large enterprises, in order to ensure thesustainable development path, to achieve effective management of people, need a setof human resources management system design and implementation.Lenovo (Beijing) human resources management limited version of the old iscomposed of subsystems of several small, currently only query is compiled staffcontact, the name of the basic information function. In the face of the current highmobility of staff, knowledge update changes fast, fast rhythm, human resource versionof the old system can not meet the needs of existing business, and the system modulecannot be upgraded, Lenovo (Beijing) Co., Ltd. has begun to solve the relationshipbetween human resource management, including human coordination and unifiedmanagement, information disclosure and smooth, and the human resourcesmanagement of the network and information such as a series of problems.Due to the real situation of the current large scale of human resourcemanagement, this paper discusses how Lenovo Beijing Co.,Ltd.will create a smallco-operated and information-shared human resources management system which isclosely related to the company on ground of the lightweight J2EE platform. Theresearch question is to design and develop a systematic platform which is suitable forthe company’s human resource function and also meets its needs of managing andtraining employees as well as paying salaries. Considering the changing needs for thehuman resource management system in the future, it is expected that this system canbe expanded and up-dated.The related technologies in the lightweight J2EE platform can solve all kinds ofproblems according to different business needs. Based on the lightweight L2EEplatform and using the stable Hibernate+Struts and WEB softwares, the humanresource management system can be multi-structural and compatible. The paper alsoillustrates the key technology in all subsystems, design process and the data base.
