| With the rapid development of Chinese economy and the improvement of people’s living standard, people pay more and more attention to the spirit of enjoyment, entertainment has become a necessity of life, TV entertainment program also gradually developed. In recent years, TV entertainment shows growth spurt trend, though bring people the spirit of enjoyment, in Chinese local TV programs, excessive entertainment and low taste tendency gradually emerged. In this case, people have expressed antipathetic feelings and requirements for governing the excessive entertainment and low taste tendency which existed in TV programs.In order to solve the more and more obvious excessive entertainment and low taste tendency in Chinese local TV programs, according to the demands of people, at the end of October,2011, China’s State Administration of Radio, Film and Television (SARFT) ordered a policy which nicknamed "Cutback on TV Entertainment" policy by people. In this paper "Cutback on TV Entertainment" policy and Chinese television communication pattern are the main focus objects. On one hand, the thesis studies "Cutback on TV Entertainment" policy, following summarizing the main content of this policy, the thesis tries to analyze the origin of "Cutback on TV Entertainment". Through many angles, this thesis also interprets "Cutback on TV Entertainment" policy.On the other hand, through the analysis of changes of Chinese television communication pattern which appeared since2012, this thesis tries to explore the impact of "Cutback on TV Entertainment" policy on Chinese television communication pattern. Through discussing the changes of audience pattern between Chinese central TVs and local TVs, and among local TVs, this thesis finds that "Cutback on TV Entertainment" policy gives high pressure to local TVs so that they can create more excellent programs. This action offsets the benefit which "Cutback on TV Entertainment" policy gives to central TVs. Therefore, television communication pattern between Chinese central TVs and local TVs does not have much change. While in the respect of local TVs, because of different actions and different effects each local TV takes, audience pattern of local TVs nearly reshuffled.In addition, the limitations and deficiencies of "cutback on TV entertainment" policy are analyzed by the thesis. Besides, the thesis also concerns about the problems that how to solve excessive entertainment and low taste tendency. At the same time, the thesis also pays attention to the question that under the new situation which path does "Cutback on TV Entertainment" policy to follow. |
