Ethical Issues. Entertainment Television Programs In The Pan Study

Entertainment is the birthright of human nature. Elegant, modest entertainment is good for human's physical and mental health and promotion of social harmony. Entertainment is only one element in the way of life, without ethical and values orientation in itself. In recent years, with the economic and a variety of technical means development, the TV program was filled with much wider and intensity symbols of entertainment in scope. Some people even shouted that amusing ourselves to death. This excessive entertainment phenomenon was not only having an adverse influence for adults, but also misguiding young people's notion of ethics and values. In order to fulfilling the benifit of themselves, the people who works in TV media in China copied a variety of entertainment TV-programmes, and continued to break the moral bottom-line in order to attracting the attention of the people whom was in randan.In the end, this world becomes into a vicious cycle under the public's unconsicious randan.This paper is about the excessive entertainment phenomenon in TV-programmes with a point of view on Ethics, which mainly analyze the relationship between human and television, as well as the relationships among human beings under the influence of TV-programmes.It is a brand-new trying on study of effect in television transmission. In the first chapter, it is about the introduction of research's background and porposes,and analyzing the concept of entertainment and excessive entertainment by the "theory of spread functional ".Then the second chapter is divided into two parts,the background analysis and description of the status quo of the problems of excessive entertainment. In the first part, it analyzed the trend of amusing from the development of economic, political and cultural by using the context of social control theory. Then it put up the development trend of amusing to death and gamelization and starlization by the theory of audience individual differences and acculturational analysis. In the secend part, the writer try hard to find out the exhibition of the excessive entertainment , such as homogenous,moral without bottom-line and unconsicious randan,through specific cases in TV-program. In the third chapter, the writer uses the theories of innovative spirit , sence of group,and the bottom line of morality in Ethics,combinates of theories of aesthetic in psychology. From specific to the general, it analyzes and summarizes the ethical problem and the causes through the typical well-known events or phenomena about excessive entertainment,such as Yang Lijuan's fair, a fan culture, and Practical Jokes rampant, etc. It considers to guide a healthy amusement and bring people to think about the reflects and consequences on the people's normal life in the excessive entertainment.
