Medical follow-up is a very important part of the medical industry, which isconcerned about the patients and an effective measure to maintain friendly relationsbetween hospital and patients. However, the efficiency of traditional way of follow-upis not high, it is not conducive to a unified storage and management of follow-upinformation, resulting in failure to follow up the patients timely and low follow-uprate. Therefore, there is a need for a unified medical follow-up management platform,which is well adapted to the hospital business processes of follow-up and providesservices for the hospital follow-up work.Strengthening the hospital’s information construction, building efficient andpractical medical follow-up platform will not only help the hospital easilycommunicate with patients, to understand the patient’s current situation, to providebetter personalized service, but also can effectively manage the hospital and patientinformation, excavate the potential value of the follow-up data, enhance the corecompetitiveness of the hospital.The article will introduce the system design and development process in detailfrom the demand analysis, total architecture design, detailed design, and deployapplications aspects. In further study of domestic and foreign medical follow-upsystem, combined with the practical application of the hospital demand, based on theB/S structure and the J2EE framework platform, we design and develop the systemwith the software engineering and object oriented method by using Ajax technologyand struts2+Spring+Hibernate framework. I have participated in requirementanalysis of the project and face to face communication with hospital staff, analyzedand researched the business requirement, write the requirements analysisspecifications. In addition, I am responsible for the overall system architecture design,design and develop five function modules including patient information management, the hospital information management, single diseases patients’ follow-up, statisticalanalysis and system management.The objective of the first phase of the project has been completed, and the systemwill be deployed in three hospitals in the middle of April, but also need to be testedand improved constantly.
