At home and abroad, the monitoring of power transmission has been made a lot of results,however, there are also insufficient. In the design, the degree of coupling of the existingsystem is too high, which brings poor reusability and portability. In functions, most existingsystems are only monitoring a small number of fixed-points, the monitoring function is notcomprehensive; the huge amounts of data are showed by chart or list, that’s intuitive andinteractive; lack the functionality of the intelligent analysis of data; cannot automaticallyhandle the accident.To solve these problems, the objectives of this project is: research the existing tunnelmonitoring systems, and then use the J2EE technology,FLEX technology as well as theintelligence techniques to design a comprehensive monitoring system which can show data ina intuitive way, analysis data intelligently and handle accidents automatically.The main work is completed in this article is: Studied the characteristics of the cable tunnel,figure out the theoretical basis of the monitoring; to integrate and improve the J2EEframework, and proved the advantages; study BP artificial neural network algorithm,experimental verification improve the effectiveness of the algorithm; analysis of systemrequirements and business, make the system architecture and design of the underlying datamodel; developed all the system; Finally, test the typical functions of the system.The innovations of this paper are: Improve the framework, reduce the coupling of thesystem by12.58%and improve the reusability and maintainability of the system; combinedwith FLEX technology, use dynamic configuration diagram to show the data, improved datadisplay and intuitive, interactive; apply improved BP algorithm to the system and improve theintelligence of data analyzing; use the linkage device and accident linkage strategy toautomatic control system for dealing with incidents, which make up less of other systems cannot automatically handle incidents. The system has been successfully deployed.The system has been running for more than half a year without loss of data or false alarms.The crash rate of the system is only1.49%; the response rate of real-time accident is96.87%.It has successfully handled27accidents which accounting for84.37%of the total accidents. Itprovides good protection for the safe operation of underground cables.
