| In the21stcentury, localization, specialization, professional of social work inChina have developed further more. In recent years, with pushing the construction ofsocial work talent team in our country at the same time, a huge of social workers havelosing, it is related closely with the current situation of professional development ofsocial workers. Based on a case of school social workers in Shenzhen, with the theoryof social support, the study tries to understand the current situation of social workersand social support and the lack of social support and builds a more perfect socialsupport network, to get rid of the current relatively serious occupational dilemma.The author used the opportunity of professional internship in Shenzhen as aschool social worker, qualitative research was carried out on the eight school socialworkers through participatory observation, case interview, literature collection andsorting. Based on social support perspective, the study describes that the currentoccupational dilemma of school social worker’ chief of job content, role conflict,lower sense of belonging, job burnout, low public awareness, small space of careeradvancement, low pay salaries, professional capacity building slowly, from the formaland informal social support, analyzes that social support power such as insufficientfunding policy, lack of effective management of social work institutions, lack ofschools’ recognition, families and peer groups of traditional concept, effect of serviceobject and school social worker individual have a great relationship. By buildingformal social support networks such as government policy support, social workinstitutions professional support, school identity support, with informal social supportpower, provide the good career survival and space of development for school socialworker, get rid of occupational dilemma and under the attention, support, interventionof multi-social support power, improving the confidence and ability of school socialworkers to deal with occupational dilemma, then contribute to the development ofthe social work localization. |
