Social work is the best medicine for innovating social governance, easing social contradictions and solving social problems. In recent years, with the vigorously promote of the government and the cooperation of universities, China’s social work develops rapidly, social work agencies keep increasing, and social workers continue to grow quickly. However, behind the rapid development of social work, there are a lot of problems, such as the social work system is not perfect, the public identity is low, the specialization level is low, the occupation development is slow, and the salary level is not high. In such a development background, the working conditions of social workers on duty worry us. By contrast, in recent years, brain drain of social work is growing which issues a warning to us, so it is a task which brooks no delay to pay attention to job burnout of social workers.A large body of research shows that, job burnout seriously affects the individual’s physical and mental health, and has negative influences on the work of individual and the development of organizations. Therefore, the research on the social worker’s job burnout is of great significance, which will effectively prevent the ever-increasing brain drain of social workers, and effectively promote the social function of social workers to play, and promote the benign development of the social work professionalism. Therefore, this study, using quantitative research methods, takes250social workers which come from seven cities: Shanghai, Guangzhou, Beijing, Shenzhen, Dongguan, Wuhan, Chongqing as the survey sample, and makes the statistical analysis on the job burnout of social workers by the using of the SPSS software, and to process the correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis on the factors influencing job burnout, in order to achieve the following objectives:First, the analysis of current situations of job burnout: to explore if the social workers appear job burnout and to what degree; and if there is a difference in job burnout of social workers who have different demographic characteristics and different working conditions. Second, the analysis of the influencial factors of occupation burnout: social environment, social support, individual factors, demographic variables, working conditions, which strongly influence the social worker’s job burnout, and which impact the social worker’s job burnout significantly. Third, based on the analysis of influencial factors, I put forward the intervention strategies to solve the social worker’s job burnout.After my research, I draw the following conclusions: First, the social workers have a mild job burnout. From the demographic characteristics, we can know that different marital status have significant differences in job burnout. It shows that married social workers’ job burnout sense is higher than unmarried workers’. And different ages, genders, education levels make no obvious difference in job burnout. And it is the similar result for the social workers in different working conditions. Second, using the exploratory factor analysis, I get9common factors: superior support, coworker support, family support, work environment, system environment, salary, working pressure, economic pressure, work-family conflict. After the correlation analysis of affecting factors, I find that besides the system environment factor and working pressure factor, other factors are significantly related with job burnout; individual factors also strongly associated with job burnout. After the multiple regression analysis of influencial factors, I get that: there is a significant linear relationship among job burnout with the factors of supervisor support, work environment, family support, coworker support, salary. Then I get the regression equation of the influencial factors: job burnout=2.512-0.158*superior support-0.137*work environment-0.107*family support+0.106*coworker support-0.058*salary.Finally, based on the analysis of influence factors, I put forward the intervention countermeasures: to perfect the social work system and increase policy favor in funds; to strengthen the social support and improve the work efficiency and the sense of achievement; to improve the working environment, improve the compensation level and enhance the work motive; social workers should take the subjective initiative, learn to self regulate, deal with things maturely.
