Social Work Intervention Women Migrant Workers Social Support Network Service Research

At present, the research on social work intervention in rural migrant workers service research focused on the macro and concept level, microscopic practice field involving less, and accounts for50%of migrant workers group of women migrant workers service research is rare; combined with the research and practice most of the migrant workers as a social vulnerable groups, is the need of social help class, but ignore the peasant workers’ subjective initiative. Therefore, in this paper, in Shanghai some migrant workers belt as an example, through the use of participatory observation method, research the social work intervention migrant women’s social support network, including the use of methods, contents, achievements and the difficulty they have ever met, etc. so as to improve women migrant workers life situation make contribution, and to solve the problem of migrant workers group to provide the reference.The study found that women migrant workers social support network problems include: support subject scarcity and to support the content is insufficient, very need to social work intervention. T social workstation through the direct social work method for migrant women with emotion, communication and practical support, intervention their informal support network; through the indirect social work ways to improve women migrant workers living environment, and intervention their official support network. Make women migrant workers social support subject limited extended, social support local rich content, preliminary to improve migrant women’s social support network purpose.
