Research On Tcm Biased Consititution And The Menstruation Situation Of Female College Students

Objectives:This study was aimed to analysis parts of female college students’TCM constitution type distributions in the guidance of TCM constitution theory. Based on the statistics of common menstrual disease constitution types, a preliminary study of differences between TCM biased constitution and normal constitution in the menstrual cycle, menstrual blood volume, the color of the menstrual and the symptoms during menstrual. To explore the biased physical distribution characteristics of menstrual disease,the correlation between physical factors and menstrual disease. This will provide a new theory for the treatment and prevention of menstrual disease.Methods:Questionnaires consist of "Traditional Chinese medicine constitution classification and decision",the general life situation and the menstruation situation questionnaire. Classifying physical constitution of all the valid questionnaires, studying the constitution of emmeniopathy type distribution characteristic, establishing relevant database,and then using SPSS system to make statistical analysis of data. It is concluded that each menstrual disease in susceptible physical constitution.Results:1. The incidence of female college students with biased physical constitution was63.7%, which the Qi deficiency constitution> Yang deficiency constitution> Qi depression constitution> Yin deficiency constitution> Damp--heat constitution>Phlegm-dampness constitution blood stasis constitution> Special constitution.2. The incidence of menstruation delay in the biased constitution was13.18%, which is higher than the normal constitution. They show very significantly differences (P <0.01). The ratio of menstruation delay in the biased constitutions from high to low was:Yang deficiency constitution> Qi deficiency constitution>phlegm-dampness constitution> Qi depression constitution> Blood stasis constitution> Yin deficiency constitution> Special constitution, which show significantly differences (P<0.01).3. The incidence of early menstruation in the biased constitution was10.56%, which is higher than the normal constitution. They show very significantly differences (P<0.01). The ratio of early menstruation in the biased constitutions from high to low was:Qj deficiency constitution> Qi depression constitution> Yin deficiency constitution> Blood stasis constitution> Yang deficiency constitution> Special constitution>Phlegm-dampness constitution> Damp^heat constitution, which show significantly differences (P<0.01).4. The incidence of scanty menstruation in the biased constitution was8.98%, which is higher than the normal constitution. They show significantly differences (P<0.01). The ratio of scanty menstruation in the biased constitutions from high to low was:Yin deficiency constitution> Qi depression constitution> Yang deficiency constitution> blood stasis constitution> Qi deficiency constitution> Damp--heat constitution> Special constitution> Phlegm-dampness constitution, which show significantly differences (P<0.01).5. The incidence of menorrhagia in the biased constitution was5.18%, which is higher than the normal constitution. They show significantly differences (P<0.01). The ratio of menorrhagia in the biased constitutions from high to low was:Yin deficiency constitution> Qi depression constitution> Yang deficiency constitution> Qi deficiency constitution> Damp--heat constitution> Special constitution>Blood stasis constitution> Phlegm-dampness constitution, which show significantly differences (P<0.01).6. The incidence of dysmenorrhea in the biased constitution was63.95%, which is higher than the normal constitution. They show significantly differences (P<0.01). The ratio of dysmenorrhea in the biased constitutions from high to low was:Qi depression constitution> Blood stasis constitution> Damp--heat constitution> Yang deficiency constitution> Yin deficiency constitution> Qi deficiency constitution (69.13%)> Special constitution> Phlegm-dampness constitution, which show significantly differences (P<0.01).Conclusions:1. Biased constitution is the main constitution for. female college students.2. Female college students with biased constitution tend to suffer from Early menstruation, menstruation delay, menorrhagia, scanty menstruation, dysmenorrhea, etc.3. The four constitutions, Qi deficiency constitution, Qi depression constitution, Yang deficiency constitution and Yin deficiency constitution, are susceptible to diseases such as early menstruation, menstruation delay, scanty menstruation, dysmenorrhea, ect.
