Investigation On Dietary Status Of College Students In Changchun Based On TCM Constitution Identification

Objective:This study investigated and understood the distribution status and dietary nutrition status of college students in Changchun city,analyzed the differences and correlations between dietary nutrition status and TCM constitution types of college students in Changchun city,discussed the dietary factors that may affect college students’ constitution,accumulated basic data for the research on the development trend of college students’ TCM constitution,and improved college students’ nutrition literacy and health awareness,so as to consciously improve the biased constitution status.It is of reference value for the formulation of dietary nutrition guidelines from the perspective of Chinese medicine constitution.Methods:Taking the college students of three universities in Changchun city as the investigation object,using "personal general situation questionnaire","Chinese medicine constitution scale" and "dietary nutrition questionnaire" as the investigation tools,the personal basic information of college students of three universities in Changchun city is collected,their Chinese medicine constitution types are identified,their dietary nutrition status is objectively evaluated,and SPSS19.0 is used to analyze the difference and correlation between the dietary nutrition status and the Chinese medicine constitution types of the investigated college students.Results: 1.There are 201 college students with mild constitution,accounting for 32.84%,53 with qi deficiency,accounting for 8.66%,35 with qi depression,accounting for 5.72%,73 with damp heat constitution,accounting for 11.39%,25 with special constitution,accounting for 4.08%,5 with phlegm-dampness constitution,accounting for 0.82%,30 with blood stasis constitution,accounting for 4.9%,101 with yang deficiency constitution,accounting for16.5%,89 with yin deficiency constitution,accounting for 14.54%.2.There was no significant difference between the investigated college students with different demographic characteristics and TCM constitution types(P>0.05).There were statistically significant differences between the surveyed college students and TCM physical types in different dietary tastes,staple food structure,food intake frequency and other dietaryhabits(P<0.05).3.The staple food structure,fruit intake frequency,milk intake frequency and other dairy products have a positive correlation with peaceful constitution.The frequency of diet and take-out is negatively correlated with peaceful constitution.The intake frequency of food taste,soybean milk,bean curd and other bean products,lean meat,fish and poultry intake frequency,whether to eat snacks frequently and whether to eat on time have no correlation with the constitution type of traditional Chinese medicine.Conclusion: 1.Through the investigation of dietary nutrition,the status quo of dietary nutrition of the investigated college students is unreasonable.2.The status quo of Chinese medicine constitution of the surveyed college students is general.Although the number of people with peaceful constitution type is the largest among the nine types of Chinese medicine constitution,taking peaceful constitution as a control and classifying the other eight types of Chinese medicine constitution type as biased constitution,the proportion of people with biased constitution type will be higher than that of people with peaceful constitution type.3.Through analysis,we can see that there is a correlation between the structure of staple food,the frequency of fruit intake,the frequency of dairy products such as milk,whether to diet or not,and the frequency of ordering take-out food and the type of constitution of traditional Chinese medicine.Among the surveyed college students with reasonable staple food structure and high frequency of fruit and dairy intake,the proportion of mild constitution type is high,while the proportion of biased constitution type among the surveyed college students with high frequency of diet and take-out is high.
