Study On The Relationship Between Chronic Prostatitis Patients Personality And Psychology And TCM Syndrome

Objective: chronic prostatitis due to its slow onset, disease resistant, repeated attack,lingering does not heal, which seriously affects the quality of life of patients withcomprehensive, coupled with advertising false propaganda and its harm, to exaggeratetheir relationship and sexual function and fertility, so that patients with severe mentalburden, many patients showed to be much higher than the poor emotional reactionscaused by the disease itself. The purpose of this research is to psychological featureclassification of chronic prostatitis patients, and try to find out the correspondingrelation and TCM syndrome, explore the inherent regularity, to provide a referencefor clinical treatment of chronic prostatitis is better.Method: the author under the guidance of instructors, from2011December to2012December,300cases were collected at the age of20~39years between chronicprostatitis patients by clinical screening, the accurate typing, and guide them to fill outthe EPQ and SCL-90tables. Using the Kruskal-Wallis H test statistic description,study of damp heat retention, qi stagnation and blood stasis, deficiency of kidneydamage, hyperactivity of fire due to yin deficiency syndrome characteristics ofpersonality psychology of the four syndromes patients.Result:(1) The age of onset of chronic prostatitis patients with damp-heat syndromeis Yin Huo-wang younger patients.(2) from the syndrome than the view, in this studywe found in patients with chronic prostatitis, mainly for the retention of damp-heat syndrome and qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome, accounted for more than90%of all patients ratio.(3) found in EPQ of chronic prostatitis patients compared with thenational norm, in patients with chronic prostatitis with psychoticism and neuroticismdouble orientation, but also more introverted.(4) retention of damp-heat in patientswith syndrome of hyperactivity of fire due to yin deficiency patients than in patientswith kidney yang deficiency syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis and loss moreintroverted, patients with kidney yang deficiency syndrome of hyperactivity of firedue to deficiency of Yin loss than patients lie low.(5) SCL-90in patients with chronicprostatitis of each evaluation factor scores were higher than the norm, suggests thatchronic prostatitis patients have psychological problems in different degrees, such asanxiety, depression, decreased energy, fatigue, paranoia, fear, insomnia anddreaminess.(6) somatization, compulsive and paranoid patients of damp-heataccumulation of these three scores were lower than the deficiency of kidney damagesyndrome score, that patients with deficiency of kidney damage syndrome showedmore intense physical discomfort, obsessive and paranoid.(7) in patients withstagnation of damp-heat syndrome of somatization, compulsive, anxiety, terror,paranoid these five scores were higher than the hyperactivity of fire due to yindeficiency score, illustrate the wet-hot more yin Huo-wang, physical discomfort ismore obvious, obsessive-compulsive disorder, anxiety, fear and paranoia are morestrongly.(8) somatization, compulsive and paranoid patients of qi stagnation andblood stasis type of these three scores were lower than the deficiency of kidneydamage syndrome score, that deficiency of kidney damage in patients with syndromeof physical discomfort is more obvious, obsessive and paranoid more strongly.(9)patients with blood stasis syndrome, depression, anxiety, compulsion, paranoid terrorof these five scores were higher than the hyperactivity of fire due to yin deficiencyscore, that patients with qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome with Yin Huo-wangpatients with obsessive-compulsive symptoms, symptoms of depression, anxiety andfear is more obvious, more paranoid.(10) patients with kidney yang deficiencysyndrome of SCL-90damage each evaluation factor scores were higher than thehyperactivity of fire due to yin deficiency syndrome of kidney yang deficiency syndrome score, that loss of patients with physical discomfort is more obvious,compulsion, sensitivity, depression, anxiety, hostility level, fear and paranoia andpsychosis more strongly.(11) of patients with syndrome of kidney yang deficiencyloss than the other three syndromes patients showed more obvious physicaldiscomfort, obsessive-compulsive symptoms and the degree of paranoia. This reflectsthe relationship between patients with deficiency of kidney damage of illness andpsychological higher.Conclusion: Personality psychological characteristics in patients with chronicprostatitis is different from ordinary people, there are differences and differentsyndrome types of the patients psychology. We should to chronic prostatitis patients inthe clinical therapy with the appropriate psychological treatment in patients withchronic prostatitis, and to the need to distinguish between different syndromes.
