As the economic globalization and competition in financial market growing more intense day by day in recent years, risk management and control becomes remarkably significant in the financial practice in the progress of fast development in business of commercial banks. The bank faces three main risks those are credit risk, market risk and operational risk. As the operational risk has brought more and more loss to the bank, more and more studies have focused on the operational risk from the theory and practice fields. State-owned commercial banks are the main parts of Chinese banking and their stabilities has great impact on the development of the whole economy. Therefore we should study the operational risk in state-owned commercial banks seriously. With the development of the management technology in banks, centralized operation platform has provided the bank with an important measure to improve the efficiency and control the risk. However, centralized operation platform also creates new causes for the operational riskBy introducing the background for reconstitution of operation system flow of ABC, Shandong branch along with the function and characteristics of centralized operation platform, this essay intends to study the prevention, control and improvement of operational risk after the centralized operation platform comes on line. Here in the course of studying and analyzing the change and completing of operational system, by means of comparative analysis, demonstration analysis, induction and deduction and filed research, combining with experience of global advanced banks, the operational risks confronted by ABC, Shandong branch under such situation and management measures will be analyzed. facing the operation risk and management measures.
