Currently, information technology and network economy has become the representative of advanced productive forces, including tourism, infiltrate all areas of social life. Development of information technology has had a tremendous impact on the traditional travel management, travel services and tourism marketing, which makes the digital tourism potential to be born.Digital tourism has become a tourism authorities, an enterprises area of tourism, and exploring the development.Digital travel is the comprehensive application of generally produced collectively of tourism business, industry regulation, information technology, Internet technology and the Internet era of the profit model for fusion and other disciplines. From the broader perspective, including information of tourism management, tourism service facilities and tourist service digital agency that the online travel e-commerce and other applications. From the narrow perspective of tourism in general, the digital refers specifically to "online travel."This paper starts from the connotation and extension,through the digital review process of tourism development and analysis on every participants and travel demands and the actual situation of Yunnan tourism enterprises that provides ideas of corresponding development.Through comparative analysis differences between province and abroad tourism development, combined with the characteristics of Yunnan’s tourism industry, and two strong and strategic forts,to meet the market demands for tourism and information services, ultimately creating a digital four-point proposal on tourism development.
