For the needing of working character of PVC profile making machine and the flexibility of wireless network building in fieldwork, this thesis research and design a wireless monitoring and controlling(M&C) system, which is based on ZigBee technology,and uses to monitor and control machines` working parameter (tempreture, pressure, rotational speed and torque).Firstly, on the NS2 development environment, simulate three topolologies of star net construct, tree net construct, and mesh network construct. Then advance the building network methold of tree network to meet the needs of nodes random distribution in M&C system. Apply subnet address distribution to increase the speed of data transmission. And analyze the building network characters of the three kinds of toponology.Secondly test ZigBee route cabalility, and optimize Z-AODV route, which is based on AODV route algorithm, to cover its hole network flooding`s shortcoming, and combined with Cluster-Tree route algorithm. Z-AODV route usees the least cumulation route cost standard as the route discover method, which save the route cost and improve network stability. Z-AODV improve the count procedure of node`s depth. At last test and compare the capable performance index of several route algorithm. The end shows that the improved Z-AODV can effectively improve ZigBee network`s capability.According to the real time M&C characters of PVC profile making machines` system, separately design the hardware and software for coordinator node and router node and sensor terminal node. According to the ZigBee standard build the wireless sensor networks for start structure and tree structure. All of the nodes’hardware design is using MSP430+CC2430. MPS430 is as the lower machines’high degree of accuracy and extensible chip of data acquisition in multipath M&C modules, and CC2430 is as wireless transmission chip in building network. Software design is using CSMA/CA technology. Route algorithm is using Z-AODV algorithm. At last, test the effects of M&C at coordinator node. The results show that the ZigBee network of route advanced is a fitable wireless M&C technology of the system, which can build a wireless sensor network of stable transmission and dependable performance.
