With the progress of modern society, people's living standard has been greatly improved. And building environment is closely related to people's lives, therefore, building safety has been a widespread concern recently. Modern building is not only the traditionally shell that bricks piled up, but also a complete system whose internal information should be highly interconnected by combining intelligence with information. According to statistics, the biggest security threat is the building fire in modern city, the living environment of densely populated leads to fire hazards, besides, more electrical equipments also increase the likelihood of fires. Meanwhile, the inconvenient evacuation, time delay and other factors aggravate the threat of building fire to persons and buildings.Aiming at the current situation and the features of the building fire, this paper puts forward the ZigBee-WiFi wireless networks communication technology, which transforms ZigBee networks to WiFi networks. Design a building fire monitoring system that can collect real-time data of the building field environment and communicate wirelessly for a long distance by combining the advantages of the two networks. Since adopting wireless sensor networks technology, the system increases the building fire alarm localization function. This system is well suited for complex environment within the building, and can meet the requirements of practical application owing to the advantages that real-time transmission, high-precision localization and large communication rate.This paper combines the ZigBee technology as the core of wireless sensor networks with the general personal terminal access technology WiFi to establish the ZigBee-WiFi networks, using the latest generation CC2530 chip and RT5350 chip based on the embedded development environment as the solution to implement the function that building fire signal transmission and localization warning. The main tasks in this paper include that study ZigBee technology and program by ZigBee protocol stack to collect environmental data and localization information; ZigBee-WiFi gateway realizes the ZigBee and WiFi networks communication by the modularized design; After Studying of traditional indoor localization algorithm, combine RSSI weighted distance principle and with the traditional centroid algorithm to put forward the three-dimensional space distance weighted correction centroid localization algorithm, which is applicable to the complex environment under many obstacles and has low cost. Using MATLAB to test the algorithm accuracy; Design Lab VIEW PC interface to achieve the data collected and fire warning display intuitively; Complete CC2530 core circuit and the design of external support circuit, hardware debugging, sensors connection and gateway hardware communication test, etc.The design of building fire monitoring system in this paper can monitor building fire security via wireless communication in real-time, ZigBee-WiFi networks provides a wider range of wireless communication, with low economic cost and transmission more flexible. Taking into account the reality of the building environment, apply the improved building space location algorithm to improve the localization accuracy. After several experimental tests, the system proved to be stable and reliable.
