Smart greenhouse with the help of computer, networking, electronics, automatic control,and other high-tech means to achieve the automatic detection and control of environmentalparameters of the plant growth environment temperature, humidity, light, soil moisture,ventilation, and break through the traditional agricultural production is subject toweather,geographical, seasonal and other factors, so can provide the best growingenvironment, nutrition and water for different plants year-round, shorten the growth cycle ofcrops, improve crop yields and quality. Smart greenhouse become a typical representative ofmodern agricultural production techniques, This is also the direction of development of theagricultural production.The greenhouse environment monitoring and control system is the intelligent core of thegreenhouse, greenhouse control system currently on the market and more to the RS-485wirednetwork mainly by the lower control a variety of sensors to collect environmentalparameters,then RS-485network transmit the parameters to the monitoring host, upon requestthe host processing to control the execution of the work of agencies to achieve the automaticcontrol of environmental parameters by the monitoring. This control system has the wiringinstallation construction cycle, high cost, easy to aging, poor reliability, sensor mobileinconvenient, small network size and other shortcomings.To avoid the shortcomings of the Greenhouse environment monitoring system, this thesisdesign intelligent greenhouse environment monitoring system based on ZigBee wirelessnetwork. The monitoring system consists of four parts of the ZigBee wireless sensor nodes,wireless router node, the wireless network coordinator, and monitoring host. ZigBee wirelesssensor nodes used to collect environmental information, the wireless control node used for theautomatic operation of the control equipment, environmental data sent by the wireless node receives sensor and transferred to the monitoring host processing. Monitoring host controlcommand is transferred to the wireless control nodes by the master node, so automatic controlof environmental parameters is achieved. The monitoring host can be connected to the Internetfor remote control.ZigBee wireless network with network capacity, low power consumption, low cost, highreliability, can replace the wired network in the greenhouse control system, build system viawireless, wireless transmission of monitoring data, low cost, simple and flexible constructionand the sensor can move freely. So solve the problems of intelligent greenhouse, with a broadmarket prospects.
