Due to immaturity of wireless technology, The Fire monitoring Network remains a wire system for a long time.But with the development of RF technology, wireless technology used to monitor the fire conditions are maturing.ZigBee, an industrial control aimed, low speed, low power consumption and low price telecommunication specification, is one of the most promising technologies for Wireless Sensor Networks. In this paper we introduced the implementation of the ZigBee Based Wireless Fire Monitoring Network,and designed a scheme to set that network in buildings.This paper first introduced the development profile of Wireless Fire Alarm System, and then introduced the ZigBee technology and its protocol stack structure.Then the paper focuses on introducing the design of ZigBee Based Wireless Fire Monitoring Network and the layout of setting that network in buildings.In the design of the monitoring network, the paper focused on the hardware and software design of the monitoring network equipments. In the hardware design part, the paper compared a number of different hardware implementation programme,and chosed the CC2430 single-chip SOC solutions finally.Then we designed the network equipments'hardware schematics based on their functional requirements. In the software design part , the paper introduced the software realization of the detector node in detail,after having introduced the choice of protocol stack and whole software design.In the design of setting the monitoring network,the paper first presented methods and requirements on setting the wireless network of fire monitoring in buildings,and then in accordance with the size and structure of buildings,we divided the building into large, medium and small three types, and proposed a different setting way for each type.In the test of the system,the paper first made some tests about the node's performance,and then set a wireless fire monitoring network in a small building,and made some tests.Finally, The test results were summarized and analysed.In the end of the paper,the paper made a summary of the last phase of the work, and gave some improvements on the system.
