Take seriously to structural health monitoring and safety assessment of building structure increasingly from the public, as well as the development of related structural detection techniques, have grown into important branch of in the field of civil engineering. Acquiring accurately and transmitting stably are the basis of realizing the building structural health monitoring targets. The traditional structure monitoring system mainly applies wire sensor networks for data transmitting. But the system are high cost and easily damaged. The wireless sensor networks which organized by wireless nodes has advantages of low cost, fast to build, simple to maintenance and easy extensibility. Applications of wireless sensor network in building structure monitoring is waited to be exploited in the future. It is of great scientific significance and economic value for the exploration of building structure monitoring based on wireless sensor networks.The paper analyzed some factor need to be noticed in building structure monitoring system based on WSN, and the network model for building structure monitoring is proposed. According to the application requirements of building structure monitoring system,the Jennic OS run on wireless sensor nodes based on JN5148. With using the interactive operation on basic hardware between Zigbee Pro stack and application program , The nodes has realized Network Configuration,network creation,Sending &Receiving data,Entering & Leaving the network has been realized. After the completion of the network, and other functions. we have a effective test of the system including wireless communication distance, indoor multi-hop communication and vibrating sensor & accelerometer data acquisition.Information classification based multi-path routing algorithm and Link quality based sub-cluster routing algorithm are proposed aim at multiple service flow and time-varying link quality in building structure monitoring system. The former creates routing table based on Minimum-hops, the relevant metrics could be adjusted based on the level of information,in order to meet such performance requirements as demand of delay and reliability of different levels of information. The letter takes link quality into account in selecting cluster head, In addition, a dynamic window is presented to record the realtime link information. The experimental results demonstrate that the adopt ion of link quality based routing metric can provides higher reliability of the data transmission.
