With the rapid development of sensor, embedded, microelectronics and wirelesscommunication technology,more and more wireless sensor applications have entered our life.As an important part of the oil production, the oil collecting and transmission have drawnattention widely from home and abroad. In order to process the remote collection andtransmission of oil field, the application of wireless sensor technology in petroleumproduction has become a hotspot research topic today. At present, the application in this areain China is mainly based on GPRS Technology. However, given the facts that there are toomany disadvantages such as too many coverage blind spots in the covering areas, high cost indesign, big consumption in operating, etc, these have brought too many difficulties for theremote qcuistion and transmission of the oil data.In order to solve these problems above, in this article, we have come up with the oil wellremote collection and transmission system based on ZIGBEE technology. It will reduce thewaste of human resources and improve the equipment maintenance and management, Theseare used to be normal due to the adverse environment, large quantities and wide coverage ofthe wells. It will deeply alleviate the system. The design of the remote collection andtransmission system is to connect the ZIGBEE technology with sensors to form a wirelesssensor network. The system will work in a global free ISM frequency band, suitable foracquisition in a large number of scattered distributions of pumping field. The system hasadopted the GPRS communication technology linking the ZIGBEE network and the datacenter, which excels for having a relatively wide coverage, high transmission rate, highstability, and always being online. This design will not only overcome the shortcomings ofthe ZIGBEE network transmission distance inadequate,but also amend the defects of theGPRS network for its high cost, high consumption and blind spots.In this design, the ZIGBEE network node has used the high performance and low powerconsumption of CC2430chips as the main control chip.ZIGBEE network in this system usesthe star topology structure combined with mesh network topology, it not only enhance theZIGBEE network stability and fault tolerance, but also make the system more flexible. Afterthe completion of the construction of the hardware platform and software design of thesystem, the test of this designed system has confirmed the feasibility of the design, and hasused load sensor and displacement sensor to complete parameter acquisition. Test resultsconform to the requirements of the production error. Basically it has achieved the design purpose of the remote collection and transmission of oil well parameters.This designed system is easy to facilitate loading and unloading, free to networking,have a wide coverage, low prices, and complete the data transfer safely and reliably withlow power consumption. Solving problems like high cost ofthe oil wells in data acquisition, asevere waste of human and material resources, the limited transmission distance and blindspots, it has realized the further application of wireless sensor network in oil field, promotingthe development of the digital oilfield.
