The bilingual education in today’s society is the inevitable trend of China’s higher eduction reform and the information technology and economic globalization."A number of opinions on strengthening of Undergraduate Education to improve the quality of teaching"made by the Ministry of Education ta sunmmer2001point that colleges must promte the use of English and other foreign language to teaching the public courses actively, especially in the information technology, biotechnology and new materials technology, etc, in the financial, legal and other professional, as well as the areas which the country much-needed must have the Bilingual teaching. National key construction universities will strive to have5%-10%of the bilingual program within three years. Especially in the rapidly growing field of computer science, bilingual teaching is a trend of the times.under this situation, to hava a quantitative evaluation of the quality of computer bilingual teaching has a great significance.This thesis on the basis of investigation, according to the academic settings and the characteristics of Southwest Jiaotong University, starting from the introduction of bilingual teaching and its related concepts thouhg analysis of the factors that affect the quality of bilingual teaching and learn from the advanced experience at home and abroad. From the actual situation, this article establishing a series of evaluation indicators, and through the simple operation of AHP, the use of mathematical modeling and computer software, setting up a computer bilingual teaching quality fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model.Though the empirical analysis in Southwest Jiaotong University bilingual education in computer design a quality evaluation system for other disciplines.This thesis contains six chapters.The first chapter described the research background. the meaning, scope and ideas of the study. The second chapter introduced bilingual teaching concepts and theoretical basis.The third chapter were compared the status of bilingual teaching at home and abroad.The chapter four described the design of evaluation system of computer bilingual teaching through the analysis of the various factors that affect the quality of bilingual teaching.The chapter five is the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model for the quality of teaching and case analysis.The last chapter are the thought and suggestions of further strengthen on bilingual teachting reform and development.
