The Design And Implementation Of Mobile Reading Software Based On Ios Platform

Reading is the basic culture and entertainment need of human nature. With the development of science and technology, the reading culture has been showing a diversified development trend. Nowadays, the electronic reading is more and more popular compared with the traditional reading use paper. Due to the accelerated pace of life, our reading time is dispersed and therefore the more convenient way of reading is much favored. With the rise of the mobile Internet and increasing usage of intelligent mobile terminals, the mobile reading software is also developed with diversity. The Apple’s iOS platform, which is one of the leader mobile systems among various kinds of intelligent operating platform, has been attracting much more attentions of developers. Therefore, this thesis mainly discusses the design and implementation of mobile reading client software based on iOS platform.The trend of reading by intelligent mobile terminals is described at first in this thesis. After that, the related technology based on iOS platform is described, including the detailed introduction of iOS platform, the features and memory management mechanism of Object-C programming language, and the MVC design pattern. And then, the analysis of the software needs is presented in the third part of thesis, which is mainly focus on the performance and functions of mobile reading software. The design of each module is also discussed after the detailed software needs analysing of management module and reading module. In the fourth part of thesis, the implementation of reading software based on iOS platform is presented, such as the management module which can manage the presentation of all the magazines, the download process of reading materials, and user personalization information. The reading module of software, which focuses the allocation and utilization of system resource, can also present magazine information successfully and be able to take rational usage of internal memory. All these advantages meet the requirements of software development on mobile terminals.Currently, the magazine reading software based on iOS platform has been completed, and it is running quit well as expected.
