In recent years, with the rapid development of electronic components and widely used of digital circuits, electronic machines process towards to direction of lightweight, small, multi-function, high-speed, high reliability quickly. Computers and various types of electronic equipments are running faster and faster, and the application of high-speed circuits in electronic equipments is increasingly widespread. Digital, high-speed electronic devices have become an important material and technical basis of the information age. The digitization and high-speed of the electronic device makes the circuit work at a very high frequency and extremely high switching speed, the circuit characteristics, the characteristics of the circuit board as well as the characteristics of components are very different with the general low frequency circuit.The substrate, layout, wiring of high-speed circuit board and electromagnetic compatibility problems will impact on the characteristics of the circuit and signal integrity. High-speed circuit board design must be based on high-speed characteristics and requirements of the circuit, with a careful analysis of the high-speed signal transmission characteristics, fully considering issues such as signal integrity and electromagnetic compatibility, good layout, wiring and copper clad, repeated optimization in order to achieve a better design result. The main work of this paper includes the following aspects:1. Study on the theory of signal integrity in high speed circuit design, focusing on study of transmission line theory, decoupling capacitors and holes.2. Design the schematic of high-speed circuit board, mainly introduce the CPU module, DDR3SDRAM module and VGA module.3. Research using methods and techniques of Allegro Constraint Manager, in-depth understanding and analysis of constraint rules combined with signal integrity theory.4. Guide PCB layout by setting constraint rules in Constraint Manager. This paper based on AMD CPU-based embedded terminal design project, completed the AMD CPU-based high-speed circuit board design, guided by the theory of signal integrity. The board has been successfully made and patched, but is still in debugging and development of BIOS.
