With the trend of the electronic systems and high integrated chip toward higheredge rates, higher density, higher power, lower supply voltages, larger transient currents,the problems of signal integrity of circuits are more severe. These problems, such assignal distortion, timing error and incorrect data transmission, take a large challenge tothe hardware of system. The design of signal integrity in high-speed circuits isbecoming the principle factor of designing systems successfully. At the same time,power integrity and electromagnetic compatibility have severe influence on the designof high-speed circuits, even which is deciding. The thesis studies the relevant key areaof signal integrity, the results of analysis and research have important meanings ofguides and big values of references for the designing the high-speed circuits.Firstly, this thesis introduces the questions of signal integrity in design ofhigh-speed circuits, and summarizes the analytical methods of signal integrity. Secondly,it analyses the causes of reflection and crosstalk in the high-speed circuits in theories.By the software Hyperlynx, the signal on the transmission lines that adopt differenttypes of termination is simulated and the simulated effect of suppressing reflection iscontrasted and analyzed; next it analyzes the relationships between the capacitivecrosstalk, inductive crosstalk and far end crosstalk, near end crosstalk in the twocoupled transmission lines; it discusses the influence of crosstalk about terminations.Thirdly, through the example of a specific printed circuit board, some improvedmethods are advised to the existent problems of signal integrity and electromagneticcompatibility. Through optimization, the design is able to satisfy the demand of signalintegrity and electromagnetic compatibility. At last, it analyzes the cause of power noise,and discusses the very important simultaneous switches noise in power noise.
