With the social development and the improvement of living standards, people on food safety issues, especially of animal origin are increasingly concerned about food safety. Food safety incidents continue to occur, food safety issues will rise to a higher level, to get national attention. Meat products as a major food people, and its supply system of the complex, the consumer product safety consumer access to information has become increasingly difficult, the lack of effective transfer of production information, the consumer is very difficult to understand the quality of the final product. Quality control of meat products as food quality and safety management system is an effective means of gaining the relevant departments and the general concern of consumers. Based on China’s meat production and sales of the actual situation in order to beef products, for example, for the production of beef cattle and effective identification, breeding areas in which the use of "ear label" can be traced back not only to ensure each production processes, but also lamb industry chain to achieve the transfer and exchange of information for the lamb and its unique product code to provide technical support. Beef products to the sale of part of barcode labels, raw cattle identification ear tag through uniqueness in slaughtering, cutting, packaging and other production processes in the information chain, using individual product identification technology, raw materials, semi-finished products for identification, recording, management in order to establish the full from breeding to marketing information monitoring system. The system includes aquaculture management subsystem, management subsystem slaughter and processing, transportation management subsystem, and sales, information query subsystem and system maintenance management subsystem five application modules. In addition, also designed two types of functional modules; one is based on farming management subsystem, management subsystem slaughter and processing, transportation management subsystem, and system maintenance and management subsystem as "Background information management system"; another based on sales, Information query subsystem as the "front information inquiry system." Among them, the "Background information management system" mainly to meet the traceability of key indicators administrator collection, entry, modify, delete and other management operations,"foreground information inquiry system" to meet the general consumer inquiries and mutton safety traceability indicators related key queries.Through the development of this system, suitable for the establishment of China’s beef products traceability system, realized the whole network management of beef production. Consumers can check the system associated with the product traceability information to meet the product right. Beef achieve product quality information can be found, can be traced back to supervision, control, manageability, and thus a fundamental guarantee that consumers purchase food security.
