Though Business Intelligence integrated with ERP systems can meet thedemand of data mining and intelligent analysis of huge amounts of data to supportdecision-making, it is still difficult to deliver real-time data in order to respondquickly to market changes and make effective decisions. This paper proposes a newconcept of real-time and integrated ERP Mobile Business Intelligence system basedon the existing business intelligence systems. With the development of mobilecommunication technologies and other means, real-time Mobile BusinessIntelligence system integrated ERP applications has mobile, light-weight, real-time,and personalized features. In order to respond and manage timely for thedecision-makers, and maximize the value of real-time data, Mobile BusinessIntelligence can provide real-time data and queries. It can transfer data timely anddynamically to various scenarios with online analytical processing and data miningthrough the server-side online BI tools. The main content of the thesis is as follows:(Ⅰ) First, analyzes the limitations of traditional BI and further explores thedifferences and relations between the BI integrated ERP and the traditional BI, thetraditional BI and the mobile BI. Then it introduces the advantages and necessity ofmobile BI and analyzes the basic theory and research status of traditional BI, the BIintegrated ERP and the mobile BI.(Ⅱ) Then, makes researches on the technologies of fast ETL and complex eventprocessing engine (CEP, Complex Event Processing), which are the main ways tosolve the problem of real-time BI.(Ⅲ) Next, analyzes and presents the key technologies of the integrated ERPmobile BI system, mainly including the real-time data warehouse (RTDW),real-time data analysis, the security of communications, the mobile web services andthe technology of page fit the mobile terminals dynamically and automatically.(Ⅳ) With the technology of middleware data integration and the principles ofservice-oriented architecture, this paper also proposes and designs an integrated ERP mobile BI system based on the traditional BI system architecture.(Ⅴ) Finally, uses all above theories, methods and technologies including Mondrian,JPivot, Hessian, Android and so on, to develop a complete application of a mobile BIsystem to show the effectiveness and practicality of the proposed Mobile BusinessIntelligence architectures.
