Design And Implementaion Of Fixed Asset Management System For Changshu Institute Of Technology

There are various types of fixed assets in high schools like teaching equipment, office equipment, infrastructure and so on, the management of which is rather difficult. With the development of information technology, the information management of college assets is the focal point of the information work in colleges. Therefore, it has a profound and far reaching significance to research the manegement system of college assets. In the paper, Changshu Institute of Technology has been taken as an example to analyze the requirements for the management of its fixed assets. In view of the characteristics of fixed assets in high schools---a great variety, unorderrd geographical location, fast speed of updates, rather difficult management, a management system of the fixed assets has been put forward on the basis of Web Service.The system has introduced various kinds of technology like SSL technology of the tunnel, RFID, information push technology and so on. The function of the system has been promoted on security, automation and human-based management. In addition, the scalability and reusability of the system have also been promoted. First, the current situation of fixed assets in high schools has been analyzed in this paper, and the necessity of constructing the management system of fixed assets in high schools has been stated explicitly. The core function and workflow of the management system of fixed assets have been confirmed on the basis of Web Services and ASP.NET. The framework of the system, the classification of functional component, and the type-selection of the development mode have been analyzed. What’s more, the technology of ssl VPN has been introduced to the fore-end system, and secure logging onto the campus network system through outer network has also been allowed.The system is not only cross-platform, easily maintainable and expandable, but also high-performance, safe and open. It functionally supports assets management, assets inspection, statistics, and information push and so on. The flow of fixed assets management can be better straightened out through this assets management system, which embodies the individuation and hommization of assets management. Meanwhile, the system can push on the refinement of assets management, advance the management efficiency, and thus provide good safeguards for the center task of the schools.
