The combustion status of boiler has direct effect to the safety and economy of the powerplant. The furnace flame detecting system can supervise the status of the furnace well, amongwhich the temperature of the furnace flame is very important. This article focuses on thealgorithm of the temperature of furnace flame which is based on digital image processingtechnology, pointing out today's usual detecting ways and the algorithms of furnace flame.The usual temperature measuring ways are trichromic algorithm and neural-network method.Based on the two methods above one new method is developed here called different-weightmean method. The known several factors causing the generating of NOX is also presented here.It is put forword that forming a neural-network model to detecting the concentration of NOXonline and the control technology of NOX generating.
