With the rapid development of the information and automobile industries, the automobile electronic equipment is going to a rapid development stage, vehicle electronic equipments become a multimedia system with many functions including data collection and audio-visual entertainment and communication navigation. For the excellence pursuing of reality, amusement, and convenience, peoples make a big market on the network of the vehicle multimedia control.In this paper, we research the development status of the network of the vehicle multimedia control. In domestic market, most of which is simple structure, single function, or poor compatibility and not conducive to feature upgrades, in view of the problem we propose a building scheme on the network of multimedia control which based on the FPGA.The design using the32ARM processors S3C44BOX and Xilinx company’s Spartan TM-3E500FPGA chip to build the main hardware platforms, which added camera, GPS module, MiniGUI graphics interface module and so on, finally devise a network system of the vehicle multimedia control. The system supports CD, VCD, DVD player, able to handle the navigation data, and conducts vehicle rear-view monitor by the USB camera, which provide8inch color screen to display the video information, and through the touch screen for the realization of DVD control of external devices.Fianlly, we optimized the system design by Intellectual Property pit, and put forward my own views about how to reduce power consumption and increase the operating frequency in the development precess of the FPGA.
