Transportation vehicles is the main carrier of the distribution and transportation forcargoes, and the vigorous development of the logistics industry promotes the dramatic growthof road transport vehicles. Increasing regulatory requirements for vehicles, you need to keepabreast of the status information of vehicles on the road. The traditional manual vehiclemanagement has not been able to meet the modern requirements. In this article, the researchedand developed remote monitoring system is capable of real-time acquiring, monitoring andtransmitting of road transport refrigerated truck engine parameters and reefer parameters. Thisarticle research content derived from the production and research key projects of GuangdongProvince "Logistics and equipment for networking key technology research andindustrialization of application"(NO.2011A090200013), which is mainly conducted by SouthChina University of Technology and CIMC.Based on the Cold Chain Transport Vehicle as the research object, I developed a kind ofall-weather real-time monitoring system. This system take vehicle GPRS/GPS products andapplication software system for support platform, and have comprehensive utilization in thefield of MEMS gas concentration, temperature and humidity sensing technology, and so on.This system take the MCF51JM64microcontroller as the core, so that it can control and dealwith the collected refrigerating box on the gas concentration, temperature and humidity, thedoor switch state and the speed, oil temperature, water temperature and other related parametersof the transport vehicle engine. This system also can upload the data to management platformon the internet through the GPRS for relevant personal query. Given each monitoringparameters3-4risk rating, the system will startup the alarm mechanism when the collectedparameter value is up to the preset value,. At the same time, the system will inform the alarminformation by GPRS and monitor the data platform which can also issue instructions ofinquiring the vehicle condition and driving route through the GPRS. Finally it will realize theall-weather real-time monitoring of the environmental parameters in truck refrigeration anddriving parameters of vehicle engine.First, the system is installed in a refrigerated transport vehicle and complete the relatedfunction of the static test. And then, it also passes the test again about the variety covered trafficfield for the assessment of the system’s stability and reliability. At last, the results show that thissystem is stable, reliable, and can meet the basic need of the preset functions.
