The rapid development of economic globalization and technology has broughtnew challenges to the logistics industry. Logistics industry has become a important partof international economic system and it is also an application of "Internet of Things"area. In the network of things, the vehicles for transporting can be managedintelligently. Now, many logistics corporations are reinforcing its informationmanagement.In this paper, with the study of critical technologies for intelligent logisticsindustry such as GIS(Geography Information System), communications and database,a novel monitoring system for safe transport based on “Internet of Things” is built tomonitor the transport in real time.The main studies and achievements of this thesis are listed as following:①The background and development of logistics management informationsystem has been reviewed and analyzed. The monitoring system for safe transportbased on “Internet of Things” is presented and the architecture of the system isdesigned.②The critical technologies of the system are discussed in detail, which includeGIS technology, communications and database.③A prototype of proposed system is developed and tested. Experimental resultsshow that the proposed system is feasible, practical and can monitor the transport inreal time. |
