With the development of the information technology the amount of information that we can get is increasing and the need of information processing for enterprises is continually growing. Then the traditional way of exchange, transmission and processing of information cannot meet the actual needs of the enterprises. And it has a strong impact on the decision-making of the enterprise leader and hinders the development of the enterprise. Under such circumstances, the application of office automation (OA) system is just to meet the management needs of their office networkization and automation. Moreover it can improve the level of its internal management, strengthen the internal collaboration and raise the efficiency of the office.The collaborative OA system is built around the internal management and the office needs of a group and is developed with the technology of computer, Internet and communication to realize office automation, management informationization, operation collaboration and decision-making scientification. The system is developed with the strategy of "overall planning, step by step" and adhered to human interface design principles. The whole software is designed with modular design mode to make it more convenient, efficient, timely and accurate manner aids in the day-to-day office. The entire system is divided into eight functional modules such as administrative office management, email management, knowledge management, human resources management, instant messaging and web conference management, contact and litigation management, personal and public information management and systems management and monitoring.The collaborative OA system achieves an efficient collaborative management platform that can make the information generated in the process of organization management communicated and processed more immediate, efficient and sharing among the organizations, departments and individuals. The system realizes an effective knowledge asset management platform to improve the quality and execution of the staff and strength the decision-making ability and competitive power by the efficient acquirement, application, learning and innovation of the knowledge in the organization through the knowledge management tool. And the system implements a personalized system access portal which designs the function according to the actual needs of the staff. And it achieves a centralized information integration platform which can effectively solve the problem of information silos of corporation and realizes a flexible business process integration platform that can shorten the response time between the departments, reduce the unnecessary duplication of the work and improve the efficiency of the transfer of business.
